Bianca Blanc is ‘n talentvolle en hardwerkende jong sangeres/liedjieskrywer van Centurion, Pretoria.  

Met ‘n ongelooflike stem en passie vir musiek, skryf en toonset Bianca met fyn musikaliteit haar eie musiek op die kitaar of ukelele.  

Al die liedjies op Bianca se self-getitelde debuutalbum "Bianca Blanc", wat in September 2018 vrygestel is, is deur haar geskryf en gekomponeer. Sy het nou saam met vervaardiger Matthew Fink gewerk om die samestelling van elke liedjie te vorm en om waarlik ‘n goeie album te vervaardig.  

Haar debuut-enkelsnit, "Butterflies", is in November 2017 vrygestel en het ‘n merkwaardige 12 weke in die nommer een posisie op die 5FM "Top 10@10 Pop"-trefferlys spandeer.  

Deezer, die wêreld se mees persoonlike digitale musiekdiens, het Bianca Blanc in Julie 2018 aangewys as hul 2018/2019 Deezer NEXT kunstenaar van Suid-Afrika. Deezer NEXT is ‘n kunstenaargedrewe program wat ontwikkel is om opkomende talent regoor die wêreld te identifiseer en te ondersteun. Bianca Blanc sê: "Om aangewys te word as die nuwe Deezer NEXT kunstenaar is ‘n ongelooflik eer. Ek voel terselfdertyd oorweldig, opgewonde en dankbaar vir hierdie toekenning. Dit bied my as kunstenaar geleenthede om te groei, sowel as blootstelling aan internasionale gehore. Ek glo in myself en dit is wonderlik dat Deezer ook in my glo."

Bianca se komposisie "This Heart", is aangewys as ‘n semi-finalis in die "International Songwriting Competition". ‘n Merkwaardige prestasie gemeet teen 19 000 inskrywings.  

In 2019 is Bianca se ‘n nuwe "Deezer Sessions" kortspeler deur Deezer vrygestel. Dit is weer deur Matthew Fink vervaardig. Die vier-snit kortspeler bestaan uit drie verwerkte snitte vanaf Bianca se debuutalbum en haar weergawe van een van haar gunsteling liedjies deur Francois van Coke.  

Bianca se weergawe van "Behoort Aan Niemand Nie" is ‘n ballade met pragtige vioolspel deur Waldo Alexander en is amptelik die eerste liedjie wat Bianca in Afrikaans, haar moedertaal, vrystel.  

Na die sukses van "Behoort Aan Niemand Nie" het Bianca meer aandag begin skenk aan skryf en komponeer en optredes in Afrikaans en werk tans aan haar eerste Afrikaanse album.  

Die eerste vrystelling van hierdie nuwe projek is ‘n liedjie, "Praat Met My" wat Heinz Winckler spesiaal vir Bianca geskryf het. Bianca het dadelik ‘n emosionele konneksie met die liriek gemaak en na haar eie styl verwerk. Die lied is opgeneem en vermeng deur Richann Brüssow (Pelican State, Hanna, Valkenburg) by Morgenzongs Studio in die Vrystaat.

Deezer, the global music streaming service is proud to release a new Deezer Sessions EP with South Africa Deezer NEXT artist Bianca Blanc. Produced by Matthew Fink, the four track EP consists of three re-worked tracks from Bianca's self-titled debut album and a cover of her favourite song by Francois van Coke.

On this exclusive EP Bianca experiments with different musical styles by creating a sultry jazz version of her hit single "Butterflies", a moody ballad of "Fire" wrapped in flamenco guitar from Martin Schofield of WONDERboom fame and an upbeat tropical house remix of "Good Vibes" by Ramdaz.

Bianca also shares her personal favourite song with her fans with the beautiful ballad cover of "Behoort Aan Niemand Nie" by iconic musician Francois van Coke. The song features a string arrangement by Waldo Alexander and is the first official song that Bianca has recorded in Afrikaans, her mother tongue.

Bianca Blanc’s much anticipated debut album release is finally here! "All My Life" is the much anticipated follow up single to Bianca Blanc's debut hit "Butterflies" release by Just Music in November last year.

In recent months, young rising star Bianca Blanc has been hard at work performing gigs extensively and recording new tracks for her forthcoming debut album. "All My Life" is released in advance on all major digital music services including Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music on Friday 22 June 2018. This light hearted, catchy single is a bona fide earworm that highlights Bianca Blanc's penchant for delivering a hit song.

"At the time I wrote 'All My Life' I was in a really good place. The song is about waiting, literally all your life, for that special someone and then finally it happens, you fall in love with your best friend."

The accompanying music video was shot on location at Bianca's "home away from home" as she calls it, Railways Cafe in Irene, Pretoria.

The video was directed by Jaun-Piere Buys from JPB Media Productions, while Bianca was beautifully styled by Forever New South Africa. Photographer Jacqui van Staden traveled specially from Darling in the Western Cape to photograph Bianca Blanc.

Bianca Blanc signed to leading independent record label Just Music in June 2017 after her undeniable talent shone through at the Just Music Live Acoustic Sessions.

Her first single "Butterflies" hit the airwaves nationwide at the end of 2017 burning up the 5FM Top 10 at 10 Pop chart at the no. 1 position for a remarkable 12 weeks.

Emerging young pop star Bianca Blanc is set to release her much anticipated debut single "Butterflies" on 10 November 2017. The self-penned track makes its debut this week across radio stations nationwide.

Bianca's first album is planned for release early in the new year.

Bianca Blanc is a talented and hardworking young singer/songwriter, hailing from Centurion, Pretoria. With an amazing voice and passion for music, she writes in English and Afrikaans, shaping her tunes on either the guitar or ukulele with a keen sense of musicality.

She recently signed her first record deal with Just Music, after being brought to the label’s attention through her participation on the Just Inspired live acoustic sessions project earlier this year. "Butterflies" was produced by Matthew Fink at the Just Music studio in Johannesburg, with recording sessions needing to be carefully planned around Bianca’s studies. She is currently writing her final matric exams.

Bianca Blanc has already been making notable inroads on the live music scene. Over the past year she has performed as the opening act for the likes of Elvis Blue, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Jesse Clegg, Matthew Mole, Wonderboom and comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout. She has also featured on several leading music festivals such as KKNK, Pure & Crafted Festival and Aardklop.
